The owner of Artisan wanted to hire local artists to adorn the side of their establishment with original art.

They hired Jeff Claassen and I to create some eye-catching work. The client was art savvy, leaving to create what we thought best. At the time, I was doing a series of symbolic nature and alchemy paintings. In this piece, I wanted to incorporate man’s place in the natural cycle of life.
